“ My son wanted some seafood for his 15th birthday. So we decided to try Gilligan's for the first time as it had been previously suggested by a friend. It was on a Friday evening, so we decided to go early to try to beat any rush as they don't take reservations. Atmosphere is a bit like the Florida Keys somehow landed in Pomona, New York. We were seated very quickly for a table of 5. Only drawback to the table arrangements, in my opinion, is the seats. I happen to notice a few of the patrons carrying their own cushions, and soon, my old bones realized why. Calamari is always a big hit with my kids, and we never have enough. But the family sized Calamari was tough for even them to finish, and the cost was fantastic for the portion. Don't be tempted to fill up on the breadbasket, or you will soon regret when your food comes and you can't even eat anymore. The ultimate seafood buckets did not disappoint as my son soon destroyed his and left very little to take home. We remaining Mortals had plenty to take home for another meal or two. One of my daughters ordered the surf and turf, which had a New York strip and twin 4 oz lobster tails. Steak was cooked perfectly, and she said she loved it all. My wife ordered the tuna steak with a choice of two sides, along with a nice side salad that could have been an appetizer. Their menu is very lengthy, and I suggest reviewing it on the website prior to going. ”
“ A hidden gem of seafood with the prices that wouldn't empty your wallet! The tropical island themed decorations of the place are catching your attention as soon as you come in. Great service! Friendly and polite staff that know their menu items thoroughly. Fresh seafood with a great selection of dishes! Raw bar includes fresh oysters at the prices that beat most of the other places! Portion sizes are very generous! Their chefs really know how to prepare the fish, shrimp, and other seafood to bring out the taste without shadowing it with too many spices. Pure pleasure! My family's new favorite. Recommending! ”
“ Go before lunch time or dinner time as it gets busy. Service was great until it got busy, wait staff gets a bit overwhelmed and can forget things that you ask for. Other than that, the atmosphere is fun for kids and the menu choices are outrageously vast and delicious. Will keep coming often so I can try everything on their menu. ”

“ LOVE this place!!! The food is so good here. As you can see we tried a little bit of everything. One of the best meals I've ever had and have been back since. One of the most expensive meals too but I have to say this. The staff was great, drinks were tasty, food delicious, and even though the bill was high (don't normally spend 200 for 2 people for dinner, but we were celebrating). It was well worth it. I was full with leftovers and didn't feel like I got robbed. Will definitely be back for sure. Thanks Gilligan's. ”
“ An old standard for seafood in this area. Always fresh fish prepared to order. Portions are generous and very tasty. Acoustics are poor so it’s a bit noisy but the decor is great. Make sure you go when you are hungry. ”
“ One of my best friends and I went to Gilligan‘s after looking at another restaurant because we couldn’t have meat Last night. Google itself told us about Gilligans. As soon as we went there, we were like wow! The host who I think was the manager was very nice. He said you give us great food and everything else and he was right. The waiter was very friendly and the food which we had was called the Cape Cod supreme. It was delicious but filling I’m gonna go there again, when I’m in the area. ”
